Election Results from KPYN News
James Troop Estes was
re-elected Sheriff last night in Cass County. Estes, the democrat
incumbent received 6,628 or 56% of the overall votes compared to 5,148
or 44% for republican challenger John Spann. Troop Estes told KPYN
news what some of his goals are as Sheriff in Cass County for another
4 years.

the voting results in Cass County;
The $26 million dollar
bond for Atlanta schools failed with 1,806 or 51% voting against the
issue compare to 1,726 or 49% who voted for it.
Linden-Kildare voters
voted down their school bond too, but it lost by only 2 votes with
1072 voting against it compare to 1070 voting for the L-K School Bond.
State Representative
Stephen Frost, the incumbent democrat from Atlanta was re-elected as
state representative in Texas District one, Frost had 43,955 votes
compared to republican challenger George Lavender’s 36,308 votes.
State Representative Frost said he’s reaching out to all his
constituents in his district, even the ones that didn't vote for him.

In other election
results from last night, Texas Republican U.S. Representative Ralph
Hall won another term in district 4 with 67% of the votes, defeating
Glenn Melancon, US Senator, Texas republican John Cornyn was
re-elected with 54% of the votes, defeating Rick Noriega, his democrat
challenger. And 5th district Judge Ralph Burgess was
re-elected as judge fending off a challenge from democrat Butch
Dunbar.

were also the choice of Cass County voters. John McCain also won in
Cass County and the state of Texas, but as we all now know, Barack
Obama was elected the first black American President last night in
what will go down in history as one of the most historical nights in
America.

DPS releases new Top 10
Most Wanted list
The Texas Department of Public Safety has released the new Top 10
Most Wanted list. The fugitives on the list are wanted for a wide
range of crimes, including homicide, burglary, aggravated assault and
indecency with a child by contact.
Texas Crime Stoppers will give a $1,000 cash reward to any person
who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of these
fugitives. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of any of
these fugitives should call 1-800-252-TIPS (8477). The Crime Stoppers
hotline is open 24 hours a day. You do not have to give your name when
calling.
DPS urges caution around these fugitives.
“Any fugitive should be considered armed and dangerous,” said Col.
Stan Clark, interim director of the DPS. “You should never attempt to
apprehend these fugitives yourself.”
For more information on specific fugitives or the crimes they are
accused of, please contact the local police department in the area
where the fugitive was last seen.

Barrera, DOB 9-26-82, last known address: Austin.
Wanted for obstructing police, escape and burglary of a
habitation.
- Richard Donny
Carrillo, DOB 9-13-75, last known address: Odessa.
Wanted for kidnapping and delivery of cocaine.
- Joe Wayne
Cates, DOB 1-8-57, last known address McKinney. Wanted
for failure to register as a sex offender and indecency with a
child by contact.
- Raul Flores
Jr., DOB 2-7-73, last known address: Houston. Wanted
for murder and delivery of marijuana. Authorities warn that Flores
has violent tendencies.
- Alfred Earl
Green Jr., DOB 1-16-77, last known address: Greenville.
Wanted for aggravated assault and dangerous drugs. Authorities
warn that Green has violent tendencies.
- Rene Morales
Munoz, DOB 12-19-67, last known address: Laredo. Wanted
for homicide, probation violations and possession of cocaine.
- Mauricio
Geovany Rosales, DOB 5-26-85, last known address: El Paso.
Wanted for two counts of murder, aggravated assault with a deadly
weapon and aggravated assault.
- Harold Monroe
Sharp, DOB 3-9-66, last known address: Joshua. Wanted
for assault, evading arrest and possession of a firearm by a
felon.
- Jorge
Vasquez, DOB 5-23-69, last known address: Lockhart.
Wanted for sexual assault of a child and homicide.
- Esequiel Rio
Villareal, DOB 12-2-66, last known address: Houston.
Wanted for two counts of homicide.
DPS investigators work with local and county law enforcement
agencies to select fugitives to be featured on the Texas Top 10 Most
Wanted list. Featured fugitives generally have been accused of
committing violent crimes or crimes against children. Investigators
are interested in apprehending these fugitives as soon as possible,
before they are able to commit additional crimes.
