According to Coach Raley, he has 4 pitchers that he believes
will be his hurlers in the district, they’re left hander Nic
Parrot (Sr), Cam Coulter (Jr), Raley (So) and Lawson Schulz (Jr).
Coach Raley said that Shultz is the hardest thrower on the
team, Parrot, being a lefty has a good running curve, Coulter
throws hard, has a good curve and change and his son Lee is
living up to being the legend of being the chosen one on the
team.
Parrot is the starting first baseman but Colton Hicks and
Blake Clements also plays first. The second baseman is (JR)
Stanton Holland and Jacob Neshbya (So) will also play some at
2B. The starting shortstop will be Lee Raley but when Raley
has the pill on the hill, Matt Boyd (So), Cam Coulter (Jr) is
the starting third baseman and when he’s pitching Matt Boyd
(SR) will play at the hot corner.
Lawson Schulz (JR) will have the tough task of replacing 1st
team all-district and 2nd team all state catcher Garrett Aslin.
Daly Marsh (Jr) will back up Schulz behind the dish.
Shawn Shepard (Jr) will be starting in
center filed and Josh Rabe, and Conner Mills are looking like
they can fill the other two out field positions but the
