Atlanta's 11 and under
All-Star team has earned a berth to the Texas State
Championship in Pilot Point, Texas. The team was undefeated
in the Dixie Youth District 3 Tournament and won every game by
at least 10 runs. We are beginning our fundraising to help
support the Atlanta boys during their weeklong trip to the
State Tournament.
The team is currently
pre-selling smoked chicken dinners for delivery on July 3. The
dinners cost $6.00 each and will consist of 1 smoked leg
quarter, beans, bread and a pickle. There are some
restrictions on delivery due to gas prices, but they will try
to accommodate anyone willing to purchase the dinners and
support the team.

The dinners will also be available in the Wal-Mart parking lot
on July 3rd.
The boys also have a
couple of special items they would like to receive bids on.
All bidding will end and sponsorship received on July 10th.
Item # 1: The 2008 11
& under District 3 Championship Trophy won by the team and a
baseball autographed by all the players.
Item # 2: The 2008 11
& under Texas State Champions Trophy to be won (obviously we
cannot guarantee this item will be available, but we will do
our best) by July 19, 2008 and a baseball autographed by all
the players.
